Milan are back in the Italian Championship G4. With good performance from Lucas Paquetá, Milan defeated Genoa away from home 2-0 at Luigi Ferraris on Monday for the 20th round of the Italian Championship.

Borini and Suso scored the goals of the team, which did not have Gonzalo Higuaín, cut by coach Gattuso to the reserve bench. The Argentine negotiates his transfer to Chelsea.

On the other hand, the home team did not have the Polish Piatek, who has already rocked 13 times at Calcio and is close to hitting Rubro-Negro Milan himself.

The result means Milan have reached 34 points, overtaking Rome and Lazio and rising to the fourth place, which today would put him in the main European club competition. On the other hand, Genoa is dangerously close to the relegation zone, in 14th, with 20 points.

Even without scoring, Paquetá was one of the highlights of the Milan triumph, led the team’s attack and got to hit the beam in beautiful kick from outside the area in the final minutes of the first half.

After a first half in white, Milan set the triumph in the final stage. On 26 minutes, Andrea Conti received on the right and found Borini, who scored the first. Already at 37, Suso was launched by Cutrone on rapid counter-attack and finalized cross to seal the score.

Again for the Italian Championship, Milan return to the field on Saturday, when they will have the difficult task of facing the vice-leader Napoli at home. Genoa will try to recover against Empoli on the same day, away from home, in a direct duel against relegation.
